Terms of Service

Welcome to Sumry. We're glad you're here.

These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and ASAH Advisors, LLC (doing business as Sumry) ("we," "us," or "Sumry"). By creating an account or accessing our services, you agree to these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

1. How Sumry Works

Sumry is an AI-powered financial categorization tool designed to integrate seamlessly with Xero.

The Integration: We connect to your Xero organization to read historical General Ledger data and write (create) bank transaction entries.

Access: To use Sumry, you must have an active Xero account with the appropriate permissions. Access to Sumry is a 1:1 relationship; you must be an authorized user on the connected Xero organization to access it via Sumry.

Your Role: You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data before it is finalized. Sumry is a tool to assist you, not a replacement for professional accounting judgment.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

Monthly Service: Sumry is a subscription service billed on a monthly basis.

No Refunds: We do not offer refunds. If you choose to cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for the following month. It is a "use it or lose it" model.

Payment: We use third-party payment processors (Stripe) to handle billing. We do not store your full credit card details.

3. Your Data and Accuracy

You own your data. We are simply processing it to help you categorize it.

Automation: We use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to suggest and automate categorizations based on your historical data.

Verification: While we strive for high accuracy, AI can make mistakes. You agree that you are ultimately responsible for reviewing and verifying all entries made by Sumry into Xero.

Liability: Sumry is not liable for any tax penalties, financial losses, or accounting errors resulting from the use of our automation. You must review your Xero ledger to ensure compliance.

4. Security and Access

Authentication: We use OAuth 2.0 to securely connect to Xero. We do not see or store your Xero password.

Account Safety: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you invite a user to your Xero organization, and they access Sumry, they act on your behalf.

5. Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time.

Data Removal: Upon termination of your service, your access to Sumry will cease. We will delete your synchronized data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may terminate: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we believe you are abusing the service or violating these terms.

6. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASAH Advisors, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims arising out of your use of Sumry, including any data accuracy issues within your Xero account.
